Getting Older

So, my birthday was this week. I still can't figure out how I've made it through twenty-nine years. Somehow I just don't feel that smart.

Spring is here. Aside from snow on Monday (after nearly eighty degree weather last Saturday) it's been pretty typical. Chilly overnight with daytime temps in the mid-sixties. Before too long summer will be here all hot and humid and ick as usual.

Oh, well.

Been too busy with life to draw much lately.

Still willing to take on commissions if anyone is interested. Just send me a message and we can discuss matters.

Thanks so much for the kind words.

I always appreciate comments and feedback but I understand that others may have more pressing concerns. I too, am unemployed at the moment and trying very hard to make my hobby (art) into a profession. Not as easy as one would hope but all things come in time.

Thank you for your thoughts on keeping up drawing. I needed the encouragement. I'm perusing your Drawing Board posts, and your gallery here as I write. I'll comment if you like (but I'm actually supposed to be looking for work). I like what you've done, and if you keep up with it, bi the time you're my age you should be really fantastic!

Your art is still very much like I remembered it on PK. I think I will be checking up on new work from you through this. It looks like you try to use straight lines more in your drawings even when foreshortening which is probably your style.

aw, thanks a lot. I drew the initial pencils durning a night of drinking and smoking. by the end of the night I couldn't figure out how to draw a cat properly so I settled for "insert cat here". hah.
